AL-QAMAR

Ayah: 1

ٱقۡتَرَبَتِ ٱلسَّاعَةُ وَٱنشَقَّ ٱلۡقَمَرُ
Ceasul s-a apropiat și Luna s-a despicat [în două][1].
[1] Acesta a fost un semn dat de Allah profetului Mohammed (pacea și binecuvântarea lui Allah fie asupra sa) atunci când cei din Qurayș l-au provocat să le arate un miracol

Ayah: 2

وَإِن يَرَوۡاْ ءَايَةٗ يُعۡرِضُواْ وَيَقُولُواْ سِحۡرٞ مُّسۡتَمِرّٞ
Însă când văd un semn, ei se îndepărtează și spun: „[Aceasta este] o vrăjitorie neîntreruptă!”

Ayah: 3

وَكَذَّبُواْ وَٱتَّبَعُوٓاْ أَهۡوَآءَهُمۡۚ وَكُلُّ أَمۡرٖ مُّسۡتَقِرّٞ
Ei învinuiesc de minciună și urmează poftelor lor și tot lucrul este hotărât.

وَلَقَدۡ جَآءَهُم مِّنَ ٱلۡأَنۢبَآءِ مَا فِيهِ مُزۡدَجَرٌ
Le-au venit lor știri destule în care se află oprire [de la necredință].

حِكۡمَةُۢ بَٰلِغَةٞۖ فَمَا تُغۡنِ ٱلنُّذُرُ
[Aceasta este] o înțelepciune deplină, însă prevenitorii nu sunt de niciun folos [pentru cei care nu vor să priceapă].

Ayah: 6

فَتَوَلَّ عَنۡهُمۡۘ يَوۡمَ يَدۡعُ ٱلدَّاعِ إِلَىٰ شَيۡءٖ نُّكُرٍ
Deci întoarce-te de la ei [o, Mohammed]! [Așteptând] Ziua când Chemătorul[2] îi va chema [pe ei] la un lucru înspăimântător!
[2] Considerat a fi un Înger ce anunță judecata
