قَالُوْا لَىِٕنْ اَكَلَهُ الذِّئْبُ وَنَحْنُ عُصْبَةٌ اِنَّاۤ اِذًا لَّخٰسِرُوْنَ ۟

‘අපි (ශක්තිමත්) කණ්ඩායමක් ලෙස සිටිය දී වෘකයා ඔහුව කා දැමුවේ නම් නියත වශයෙන් ම අපි එවිට අලාභවන්තයෝ වෙමු, යැයි ඔවුහු පැවසූහ.
