قَالَ رَبِّ اَنّٰی یَكُوْنُ لِیْ غُلٰمٌ وَّكَانَتِ امْرَاَتِیْ عَاقِرًا وَّقَدْ بَلَغْتُ مِنَ الْكِبَرِ عِتِیًّا ۟

මාගේ පරමාධිපතියාණනි! මට දරුවකු කෙසේ නම් වන්නේ ද? මාගේ බිරිය වඳ කාන්තාවක් වූවා ය. මා ද මහලුවියේ අවසානයට ළඟා වී ඇත්තෙමි යැයි ඔහු පැවසුවේ ය.
