Translation of the meanings Ayah: (168) Surah: Āl-‘Imrān
اَلَّذِیْنَ قَالُوْا لِاِخْوَانِهِمْ وَقَعَدُوْا لَوْ اَطَاعُوْنَا مَا قُتِلُوْا ؕ— قُلْ فَادْرَءُوْا عَنْ اَنْفُسِكُمُ الْمَوْتَ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ صٰدِقِیْنَ ۟
(යුද්ධයට නො ගොස්) වාඩි වී සිටි ඔවුන්ගේ සහෝදරයින් හමුවෙහි මොවුහු "අපට අවනත වූයේ නම් ඝාතනය කරනු නො ලබන්නට තිබුණි" යැයි පැවසූහ. එසේ (පවසන) නුඹලා සත්යවාදීන්ව සිටියෙහු නම් "මරණය නුඹලාගෙන් වළක්වා ගනු" යැයි (නබිවරය!) නුඹ විමසනු.
