Quraish

Ayah: 1

لِإِيلَٰفِ قُرَيۡشٍ
(Sorpréndete junto con los creyentes, ¡oh, Muhammad!) de las gracias a las que está acostumbrada la tribu de los Quraish[1189].
[1189] Algunos exégetas opinan que esta sura es una continuación de la anterior y, por lo tanto, podría entenderse que lo que Al-lah hizo con la gente del elefante fue para garantizar la seguridad de la que gozaban los Quraish, la tribu más importante de La Meca a la que pertenecía el Profeta Muhammad —que Al-lah lo bendiga y le dé la paz—, quienes eran grandes mercaderes y eran respetados por las tribus de los alrededores.

Ayah: 2

إِۦلَٰفِهِمۡ رِحۡلَةَ ٱلشِّتَآءِ وَٱلصَّيۡفِ
Están acostumbrados a viajar (con seguridad) en invierno (a Yemen) y en verano (a la Gran Siria).
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 3

فَلۡيَعۡبُدُواْ رَبَّ هَٰذَا ٱلۡبَيۡتِ
Que adoren, pues (en agradecimiento), al Señor de esta casa (la Kaaba)[1190],
[1190] El Señor de la Kaaba se refiere a Al-lah.

ٱلَّذِيٓ أَطۡعَمَهُم مِّن جُوعٖ وَءَامَنَهُم مِّنۡ خَوۡفِۭ
Quien les proporciona alimento para que no padezcan hambre y seguridad para que no teman.
