وَجَٰوَزۡنَا بِبَنِيٓ إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ ٱلۡبَحۡرَ فَأَتَوۡاْ عَلَىٰ قَوۡمٖ يَعۡكُفُونَ عَلَىٰٓ أَصۡنَامٖ لَّهُمۡۚ قَالُواْ يَٰمُوسَى ٱجۡعَل لَّنَآ إِلَٰهٗا كَمَا لَهُمۡ ءَالِهَةٞۚ قَالَ إِنَّكُمۡ قَوۡمٞ تَجۡهَلُونَ
138. E hicimos que los hijos de Israel cruzaran el mar, y llegaron a un pueblo cuyas gentes estaban entregadas a la adoración de sus ídolos. (Los hijos de Israel) dijeron: “¡Oh, Moisés!, danos divinidades como las que ellos tienen”. (Moisés) contestó: “Ciertamente, (ustedes) son gente ignorante.
