يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ كُتِبَ عَلَيۡكُمُ ٱلصِّيَامُ كَمَا كُتِبَ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِكُمۡ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَتَّقُونَ
Enyi ambao mumemuamini Mwenyezi Mungu na Mtume Wake na mukaifuata Sheria Yake kivitendo, Mwenyezi Mungu Amewafaradhia kufunga, kama Alivyowafaradhia uma waliokuweko kabla yenu, ili mupate kumcha Mola wenu na kuweka kinga kati yenu na maasia, kwa kumtii na kumuabudu Peke Yake.
