Translation of the meanings Surah: Yūsuf   Ayah:

Ayah: 15

فَلَمَّا ذَهَبُواْ بِهِۦ وَأَجۡمَعُوٓاْ أَن يَجۡعَلُوهُ فِي غَيَٰبَتِ ٱلۡجُبِّۚ وَأَوۡحَيۡنَآ إِلَيۡهِ لَتُنَبِّئَنَّهُم بِأَمۡرِهِمۡ هَٰذَا وَهُمۡ لَا يَشۡعُرُونَ
Basi walipokwenda naye, na wakakubaliana kwamba wamtumbukize ndani ya kisima, tulimfunulia Yusuf: Hakika utakujawaambia jambo lao hili, na wala wao hawatambui.

Ayah: 16

وَجَآءُوٓ أَبَاهُمۡ عِشَآءٗ يَبۡكُونَ
Wakamjia baba yao usiku wakilia.

Ayah: 17

قَالُواْ يَٰٓأَبَانَآ إِنَّا ذَهَبۡنَا نَسۡتَبِقُ وَتَرَكۡنَا يُوسُفَ عِندَ مَتَٰعِنَا فَأَكَلَهُ ٱلذِّئۡبُۖ وَمَآ أَنتَ بِمُؤۡمِنٖ لَّنَا وَلَوۡ كُنَّا صَٰدِقِينَ
Wakasema: Ewe baba yetu! Hakika tulikwenda kushindana na tukamwacha Yusuf penye vitu vyetu. Basi mbwa mwitu akamla. Lakini wewe hutuamini ijapokuwa sisi ni wakweli.

Ayah: 18

وَجَآءُو عَلَىٰ قَمِيصِهِۦ بِدَمٖ كَذِبٖۚ قَالَ بَلۡ سَوَّلَتۡ لَكُمۡ أَنفُسُكُمۡ أَمۡرٗاۖ فَصَبۡرٞ جَمِيلٞۖ وَٱللَّهُ ٱلۡمُسۡتَعَانُ عَلَىٰ مَا تَصِفُونَ
Na walikuja na shati lake likiwa lina damu ya uongo. Akasema: Bali nafsi zenu zimewashawishi kutenda kitendo. Lakini subira ni njema; na Mwenyezi Mungu ndiye wa kuombwa msaada kwa haya mnayoyaeleza.

Ayah: 19

وَجَآءَتۡ سَيَّارَةٞ فَأَرۡسَلُواْ وَارِدَهُمۡ فَأَدۡلَىٰ دَلۡوَهُۥۖ قَالَ يَٰبُشۡرَىٰ هَٰذَا غُلَٰمٞۚ وَأَسَرُّوهُ بِضَٰعَةٗۚ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمُۢ بِمَا يَعۡمَلُونَ
Na ukaja msafara, kisha wakamtuma mchota maji wao, naye akatumbukiza ndoo yake. Alisema: Hii ni bishara njema! Huyu hapa mvulana! Wakamficha ili kumfanya ni bidhaa. Na Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mwenye kujua vyema hayo wanayoyatenda.

Ayah: 20

وَشَرَوۡهُ بِثَمَنِۭ بَخۡسٖ دَرَٰهِمَ مَعۡدُودَةٖ وَكَانُواْ فِيهِ مِنَ ٱلزَّٰهِدِينَ
Na wakamuuza kwa thamani duni, dirhamu za kuhesabika tu. Wala hawakuwa na haja naye.

Ayah: 21

وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِي ٱشۡتَرَىٰهُ مِن مِّصۡرَ لِٱمۡرَأَتِهِۦٓ أَكۡرِمِي مَثۡوَىٰهُ عَسَىٰٓ أَن يَنفَعَنَآ أَوۡ نَتَّخِذَهُۥ وَلَدٗاۚ وَكَذَٰلِكَ مَكَّنَّا لِيُوسُفَ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَلِنُعَلِّمَهُۥ مِن تَأۡوِيلِ ٱلۡأَحَادِيثِۚ وَٱللَّهُ غَالِبٌ عَلَىٰٓ أَمۡرِهِۦ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ
Na yule aliyemnunua huko Misri alimwambia mkewe: "Mtengenezee makazi ya heshima huyu; huenda akatufaa au tukamfanya mwanetu." Basi hivyo ndivyo tulivyomuweka Yusuf imara katika ardhi ili tumfundishe kufasiri mambo. Na Mwenyezi Mungu ndiye Mwenye kushinda katika jambo lake, lakini wengi wa watu hawajui.

Ayah: 22

وَلَمَّا بَلَغَ أَشُدَّهُۥٓ ءَاتَيۡنَٰهُ حُكۡمٗا وَعِلۡمٗاۚ وَكَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِي ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ
Na alipofikia utu uzima wake, tukampa hukumu na elimu. Na hivyo ndivyo tunavyowalipa watendao mazuri.
