Translation of the meanings Surah: Al-Hijr   Ayah:

Ayah: 16

وَلَقَدۡ جَعَلۡنَا فِي ٱلسَّمَآءِ بُرُوجٗا وَزَيَّنَّٰهَا لِلنَّٰظِرِينَ
Na hakika tumeweka katika mbingu vituo vya sayari, na tumezipamba kwa wenye kuangalia.
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 17

وَحَفِظۡنَٰهَا مِن كُلِّ شَيۡطَٰنٖ رَّجِيمٍ
Na tumezilinda kutokana na kila shetani aliyelaaniwa.

Ayah: 18

إِلَّا مَنِ ٱسۡتَرَقَ ٱلسَّمۡعَ فَأَتۡبَعَهُۥ شِهَابٞ مُّبِينٞ
Isipokuwa mwenye kusikiliza kwa kuibia, naye hufuatwa na kijinga cha moto kilicho dhahiri.

Ayah: 19

وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ مَدَدۡنَٰهَا وَأَلۡقَيۡنَا فِيهَا رَوَٰسِيَ وَأَنۢبَتۡنَا فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ مَّوۡزُونٖ
Na ardhi tumeitandaza, na humo tumeweka milima madhubuti, na tumeotesha ndani yake katika kila kitu kwa kiasi chake.

Ayah: 20

وَجَعَلۡنَا لَكُمۡ فِيهَا مَعَٰيِشَ وَمَن لَّسۡتُمۡ لَهُۥ بِرَٰزِقِينَ
Na tumewafanyia humo vitu vya maisha yenu, na ya hao ambao nyinyi sio wenye kuwaruzuku.

Ayah: 21

وَإِن مِّن شَيۡءٍ إِلَّا عِندَنَا خَزَآئِنُهُۥ وَمَا نُنَزِّلُهُۥٓ إِلَّا بِقَدَرٖ مَّعۡلُومٖ
Na hakuna chochote ila asili yake inatokana na Sisi; wala hatukiteremshi isipokuwa kwa kipimo maalumu.

Ayah: 22

وَأَرۡسَلۡنَا ٱلرِّيَٰحَ لَوَٰقِحَ فَأَنزَلۡنَا مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءٗ فَأَسۡقَيۡنَٰكُمُوهُ وَمَآ أَنتُمۡ لَهُۥ بِخَٰزِنِينَ
Na tunazipeleka pepo za kupandishia, na tunateremsha kutoka mbinguni maji, kisha tukakunywesheni maji hayo. Wala si nyinyi mnayoyaweka.

Ayah: 23

وَإِنَّا لَنَحۡنُ نُحۡيِۦ وَنُمِيتُ وَنَحۡنُ ٱلۡوَٰرِثُونَ
Na hakika Sisi ndio tunaohuisha na tunaofisha. Na Sisi ndio Warithi.

Ayah: 24

وَلَقَدۡ عَلِمۡنَا ٱلۡمُسۡتَقۡدِمِينَ مِنكُمۡ وَلَقَدۡ عَلِمۡنَا ٱلۡمُسۡتَـٔۡخِرِينَ
Na hakika tunawajua waliotangulia katika nyinyi, na tunawajua waliobaki nyuma.

Ayah: 25

وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ يَحۡشُرُهُمۡۚ إِنَّهُۥ حَكِيمٌ عَلِيمٞ
Na hakika Mola wako Mlezi ndiye atakayewakusanya. Hakika Yeye ni Mwenye hekima, Mwenye kujua mno.

Ayah: 26

وَلَقَدۡ خَلَقۡنَا ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ مِن صَلۡصَٰلٖ مِّنۡ حَمَإٖ مَّسۡنُونٖ
Na hakika tulimuumba Mtu kwa udongo unaotoa sauti, unaotokana na matope yaliyotiwa sura.

Ayah: 27

وَٱلۡجَآنَّ خَلَقۡنَٰهُ مِن قَبۡلُ مِن نَّارِ ٱلسَّمُومِ
Naye Jini tulimuumba hapo kabla kutokana na moto wa upepo umoto.

Ayah: 28

وَإِذۡ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ إِنِّي خَٰلِقُۢ بَشَرٗا مِّن صَلۡصَٰلٖ مِّنۡ حَمَإٖ مَّسۡنُونٖ
Na Mola wako Mlezi alipowaambia Malaika: Hakika Mimi nitamuumba mtu kwa udongo unaotoa sauti, unaotokana na matope yaliyotiwa sura.

Ayah: 29

فَإِذَا سَوَّيۡتُهُۥ وَنَفَخۡتُ فِيهِ مِن رُّوحِي فَقَعُواْ لَهُۥ سَٰجِدِينَ
Basi nitakapomtengeneza sawasawa, na nikampulizia roho yangu, basi angukeni kumsujudia.

Ayah: 30

فَسَجَدَ ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ كُلُّهُمۡ أَجۡمَعُونَ
Basi Malaika wote pamoja walimsujudia.

Ayah: 31

إِلَّآ إِبۡلِيسَ أَبَىٰٓ أَن يَكُونَ مَعَ ٱلسَّٰجِدِينَ
Isipokuwa Iblisi. Yeye alikataa kuwa pamoja na waliosujudu.
