Al-Fajr

Ayah: 1

وَٱلۡفَجۡرِ
Ninaapa kwa alfajiri.
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 2

وَلَيَالٍ عَشۡرٖ
Na kwa masiku kumi.
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 3

وَٱلشَّفۡعِ وَٱلۡوَتۡرِ
Na kwa viwili viwili na kimoja kimoja.

Ayah: 4

وَٱلَّيۡلِ إِذَا يَسۡرِ
Na kwa usiku unapopita.

Ayah: 5

هَلۡ فِي ذَٰلِكَ قَسَمٞ لِّذِي حِجۡرٍ
Je, hapana katika haya kiapo kwa mwenye akili?

أَلَمۡ تَرَ كَيۡفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِعَادٍ
Kwani hukuona jinsi Mola wako Mlezi alivyowafanya kina A'di?

Ayah: 7

إِرَمَ ذَاتِ ٱلۡعِمَادِ
Wa Iram, wenye majumba marefu?

Ayah: 8

ٱلَّتِي لَمۡ يُخۡلَقۡ مِثۡلُهَا فِي ٱلۡبِلَٰدِ
Ambao haukuumbwa mfano wake katika nchi?

وَثَمُودَ ٱلَّذِينَ جَابُواْ ٱلصَّخۡرَ بِٱلۡوَادِ
Na Thamudi waliochonga majabali huko bondeni?

وَفِرۡعَوۡنَ ذِي ٱلۡأَوۡتَادِ
Na Firauni mwenye vigingi?

Ayah: 11

ٱلَّذِينَ طَغَوۡاْ فِي ٱلۡبِلَٰدِ
Ambao walifanya jeuri katika nchi?

Ayah: 12

فَأَكۡثَرُواْ فِيهَا ٱلۡفَسَادَ
Wakakithirisha humo ufisadi?

Ayah: 13

فَصَبَّ عَلَيۡهِمۡ رَبُّكَ سَوۡطَ عَذَابٍ
Basi Mola wako Mlezi aliwapiga mjeledi wa adhabu.

Ayah: 14

إِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَبِٱلۡمِرۡصَادِ
Hakika Mola wako Mlezi yupo kwenye mavizio anawavizia.

Ayah: 15

فَأَمَّا ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ إِذَا مَا ٱبۡتَلَىٰهُ رَبُّهُۥ فَأَكۡرَمَهُۥ وَنَعَّمَهُۥ فَيَقُولُ رَبِّيٓ أَكۡرَمَنِ
Ama mtu anapojaribiwa na Mola wake Mlezi, akamkirimu na akamneemesha, husema: Mola wangu Mlezi amenikirimu!

Ayah: 16

وَأَمَّآ إِذَا مَا ٱبۡتَلَىٰهُ فَقَدَرَ عَلَيۡهِ رِزۡقَهُۥ فَيَقُولُ رَبِّيٓ أَهَٰنَنِ
Na ama anapomjaribu akampunguzia riziki yake, husema: Mola wangu Mlezi amenitia unyonge!

Ayah: 17

كَلَّاۖ بَل لَّا تُكۡرِمُونَ ٱلۡيَتِيمَ
Sivyo hivyo! Bali nyinyi hamuwakirimu mayatima.

Ayah: 18

وَلَا تَحَٰٓضُّونَ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ ٱلۡمِسۡكِينِ
Wala hamhimizani kulisha masikini.

وَتَأۡكُلُونَ ٱلتُّرَاثَ أَكۡلٗا لَّمّٗا
Na mnakula urithi kwa ulaji wa pupa.

وَتُحِبُّونَ ٱلۡمَالَ حُبّٗا جَمّٗا
Na mnapenda mali pendo la kupita kiasi.

كَلَّآۖ إِذَا دُكَّتِ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ دَكّٗا دَكّٗا
Sivyo hivyo! Itakapovunjwa ardhi vipande vipande.

Ayah: 22

وَجَآءَ رَبُّكَ وَٱلۡمَلَكُ صَفّٗا صَفّٗا
Na akaja Mola wako Mlezi na Malaika safu safu.

Ayah: 23

وَجِاْيٓءَ يَوۡمَئِذِۭ بِجَهَنَّمَۚ يَوۡمَئِذٖ يَتَذَكَّرُ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ وَأَنَّىٰ لَهُ ٱلذِّكۡرَىٰ
Na ikaletwa Jahannamu siku hiyo, siku hiyo mtu atakumbuka! Lakini kukumbuka huko kutamfaa nini?

Ayah: 24

يَقُولُ يَٰلَيۡتَنِي قَدَّمۡتُ لِحَيَاتِي
Atasema: Laiti ningelijitangulizia kwa uhai wangu!

Ayah: 25

فَيَوۡمَئِذٖ لَّا يُعَذِّبُ عَذَابَهُۥٓ أَحَدٞ
Basi siku hiyo hataadhibu yeyote namna ya kuadhibu kwake.

Ayah: 26

وَلَا يُوثِقُ وَثَاقَهُۥٓ أَحَدٞ

Ayah: 27

يَٰٓأَيَّتُهَا ٱلنَّفۡسُ ٱلۡمُطۡمَئِنَّةُ
Ewe nafsi iliyotua!

ٱرۡجِعِيٓ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكِ رَاضِيَةٗ مَّرۡضِيَّةٗ
Rejea kwa Mola wako Mlezi umeridhika, na umeridhiwa.

Ayah: 29

فَٱدۡخُلِي فِي عِبَٰدِي
Basi ingia miongoni mwa waja wangu.

Ayah: 30

وَٱدۡخُلِي جَنَّتِي
Na ingia katika Pepo yangu.
