Ayah: 17

وَأَمَّا ثَمُودُ فَهَدَيۡنَٰهُمۡ فَٱسۡتَحَبُّواْ ٱلۡعَمَىٰ عَلَى ٱلۡهُدَىٰ فَأَخَذَتۡهُمۡ صَٰعِقَةُ ٱلۡعَذَابِ ٱلۡهُونِ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَكۡسِبُونَ

Hinggil sa [liping] Thamūd, nagpatnubay Kami sa kanila ngunit umibig sila nang higit sa pagkabulag kaysa sa patnubay kaya dumaklot sa kanila ang lintik ng pagdurusang humahamak dahil sa dati nilang nakakamit [na mga pagsuway].
