وَلَقَدۡ كُنتُمۡ تَمَنَّوۡنَ ٱلۡمَوۡتَ مِن قَبۡلِ أَن تَلۡقَوۡهُ فَقَدۡ رَأَيۡتُمُوهُ وَأَنتُمۡ تَنظُرُونَ

Ва [эй муъминон] ба ростӣ, ки пеш аз рӯёрӯ шудан бо марг [дар ғазваи Уҳуд] орзуи шаҳодат доштед. Саранҷом он [маъракаи ҷанг]-ро дидед ва [акнун пешорӯйи шумост ва] ба он менигаред
