Ayah: 1

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ ۟

1. அளவற்ற அருளாளனும், நிகரற்ற அன்புடையோனுமாகிய அல்லாஹ்வின் திருப்பெயரால் (ஓதுகிறேன்)

Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ رَبِّ الْعٰلَمِیْنَ ۟ۙ

2. எல்லாப் புகழும் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கே! (அவன்தான்) அகிலத்தார் அனைவரையும் படைத்து வளர்த்து தகுந்த முறையில் பக்குவப்படுத்துபவன்.

الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ ۟ۙ

3. (அவன்தான்) அளவற்ற அருளாளன், நிகரற்ற அன்புடையவன்,

مٰلِكِ یَوْمِ الدِّیْنِ ۟ؕ

4. தீர்ப்பு நாளின் அதிபதி(யும் அவனே).

اِیَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَاِیَّاكَ نَسْتَعِیْنُ ۟ؕ

5. (அல்லாஹ்வே!) நாங்கள் உன்னையே வணங்குகிறோம்; உன்னிடமே உதவி தேடுகிறோம்.

اِهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِیْمَ ۟ۙ

6. நீ எங்களை நேரான வழியில் நடத்துவாயாக!

صِرَاطَ الَّذِیْنَ اَنْعَمْتَ عَلَیْهِمْ ۙ۬— غَیْرِ الْمَغْضُوْبِ عَلَیْهِمْ وَلَا الضَّآلِّیْنَ ۟۠

7. (அவ்வழி) எவர்களுக்கு நீ அருள் புரிந்தாயோ அவர்கள் (சென்ற) வழி.(உன்) கோபத்திற்குள்ளானவர்களோ வழிதவறியவர்களோ சென்ற வழியல்ல.
