Translation of the meanings Ayah: (80) Surah: Al-Baqarah
وَقَالُوْا لَنْ تَمَسَّنَا النَّارُ اِلَّاۤ اَیَّامًا مَّعْدُوْدَةً ؕ— قُلْ اَتَّخَذْتُمْ عِنْدَ اللّٰهِ عَهْدًا فَلَنْ یُّخْلِفَ اللّٰهُ عَهْدَهٗۤ اَمْ تَقُوْلُوْنَ عَلَی اللّٰهِ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُوْنَ ۟
80. ‘‘ஒரு சில நாள்களுக்கேத் தவிர நரக நெருப்பு எங்களைத் தீண்டவே செய்யாது'' என அவர்கள் கூறுகிறார்கள். (அதற்கு நபியே! அவர்களை) கேட்பீராக: அல்லாஹ்விடம் ஏதேனும் (அவ்வாறு) ஓர் உறுதிமொழியை நீங்கள் பெற்றிருக்கிறீர்களா? அவ்வாறாயின் நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் தன் வாக்கு மாறமாட்டான். அல்லது நீங்கள் அறியாததை அல்லாஹ்வின் மீது (பொய்) சொல்கிறீர்களா?
