فَكَاَیِّنْ مِّنْ قَرْیَةٍ اَهْلَكْنٰهَا وَهِیَ ظَالِمَةٌ فَهِیَ خَاوِیَةٌ عَلٰی عُرُوْشِهَا ؗ— وَبِئْرٍ مُّعَطَّلَةٍ وَّقَصْرٍ مَّشِیْدٍ ۟
45. அநியாயக்காரர்கள் வசித்திருந்த எத்தனையோ ஊர்களை நாம் அழித்திருக்கிறோம். அவற்றுடைய முகடுகள் இடிந்து குட்டிச் சுவராகிக் கிடக்கின்றன. அவற்றின் (எத்தனையோ) கிணறுகள் பாழடைந்து கிடக்கின்றன. அவற்றின் மாட மாளிகைகள் (மக்கள் வசிக்காது) பாழாய் கிடக்கின்றன.
