Translation of the meanings Ayah: (178) Surah: Āl-‘Imrān
وَلَا یَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِیْنَ كَفَرُوْۤا اَنَّمَا نُمْلِیْ لَهُمْ خَیْرٌ لِّاَنْفُسِهِمْ ؕ— اِنَّمَا نُمْلِیْ لَهُمْ لِیَزْدَادُوْۤا اِثْمًا ۚ— وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ مُّهِیْنٌ ۟
178. நிராகரிப்பவர்களை (தண்டிக்காமல்) நாம் தாமதப்படுத்துவது தங்களுக்கு நல்லதென்று நிச்சயமாக அவர்கள் எண்ணிவிட வேண்டாம். (வேதனையை) நாம் அவர்களுக்குத் தாமதப்படுத்துவதெல்லாம் (அவர்களுடைய) பாவம் (மேன்மேலும்,) அதிகரிப்பதற்காகவேதான். மேலும், (முடிவில்) அவர்களுக்கு இழிவு தரும் வேதனை உண்டு.
