Translation of the meanings Ayah: (21) Surah: Luqmān
وَاِذَا قِیْلَ لَهُمُ اتَّبِعُوْا مَاۤ اَنْزَلَ اللّٰهُ قَالُوْا بَلْ نَتَّبِعُ مَا وَجَدْنَا عَلَیْهِ اٰبَآءَنَا ؕ— اَوَلَوْ كَانَ الشَّیْطٰنُ یَدْعُوْهُمْ اِلٰی عَذَابِ السَّعِیْرِ ۟
21. அவர்களை நோக்கி, ‘‘அல்லாஹ் இறக்கிய (இவ்வேதத்)தைப் பின்பற்றுங்கள்'' எனக் கூறினால், அதற்கு அவர்கள் ‘‘ இல்லை, எங்கள் மூதாதைகள் எதன் மீது இருக்க நாங்கள் கண்டோமோ அதையே பின்பற்றுவோம்'' என்று கூறுகின்றனர். (என்னே!) அவர்கள் மூதாதைகளை ஷைத்தான் நரக வேதனையின் பக்கம் அழைத்து (அவர்களும் சென்று) இருந்தாலுமா? (இவர்கள் அவர்களைப் பின்பற்றிச் செல்வார்கள்!)
