Translation of the meanings Ayah: (44) Surah: Sād
وَخُذْ بِیَدِكَ ضِغْثًا فَاضْرِبْ بِّهٖ وَلَا تَحْنَثْ ؕ— اِنَّا وَجَدْنٰهُ صَابِرًا ؕ— نِّعْمَ الْعَبْدُ ؕ— اِنَّهٗۤ اَوَّابٌ ۟
44. ‘‘ஒரு பிடி (புல்) கத்தையை எடுத்து, அதைக்கொண்டு (உமது மனைவியை) அடிப்பீராக. நீர் உமது சத்தியத்தை முறிக்க வேண்டியதில்லை'' (என்று கூறினோம்.) நிச்சயமாக நாம், அவரை மிக்க பொறுமை உடையவராகவே கண்டோம். அவர் மிக்க நல்லடியார். நிச்சயமாக அவர் (ஒவ்வொரு விஷயத்திலும் நம்மை) நோக்கினவராகவே இருந்தார்.
