Translation of the meanings Ayah: (21) Surah: Al-Ahqāf
وَاذْكُرْ اَخَا عَادٍ اِذْ اَنْذَرَ قَوْمَهٗ بِالْاَحْقَافِ وَقَدْ خَلَتِ النُّذُرُ مِنْ بَیْنِ یَدَیْهِ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهٖۤ اَلَّا تَعْبُدُوْۤا اِلَّا اللّٰهَ ؕ— اِنِّیْۤ اَخَافُ عَلَیْكُمْ عَذَابَ یَوْمٍ عَظِیْمٍ ۟
21. (நபியே!) நீர் (ஹூத் நபியாகிய) ‘ஆது' உடைய சகோதரரை நினைவு கூறுவீராக. அவருக்கு முன்னும், பின்னும் தூதர்கள் பலர் (அவர்களிடம்) வந்திருக்கின்றனர். (அவர்) தன் மக்களை ‘அஹ்காஃப்' என்ற (மணற்பாங்கான) இடத்தில் (சந்தித்து), ‘‘அல்லாஹ்வைத் தவிர (மற்றெவரையும்) நீங்கள் வணங்காதீர்கள். நிச்சயமாக மகத்தான நாளின் வேதனை உங்கள் மீது இறங்கி விடுமென்று நான் பயப்படுகிறேன்'' என்று அச்சமூட்டி எச்சரித்தார்.
