Translation of the meanings Ayah: (22) Surah: Al-Ahqāf
قَالُوْۤا اَجِئْتَنَا لِتَاْفِكَنَا عَنْ اٰلِهَتِنَا ۚ— فَاْتِنَا بِمَا تَعِدُنَاۤ اِنْ كُنْتَ مِنَ الصّٰدِقِیْنَ ۟
22. அதற்கவர்கள், ‘‘எங்கள் தெய்வங்களை விட்டும் எங்களைத் திருப்பிவிடவா நீர் எங்களிடம் வந்தீர்? நீர் மெய்யாகவே உண்மை சொல்பவராக இருந்தால், நீர் எங்களைப் பயமுறுத்தும் வேதனையை நம்மிடம் கொண்டு வருவீராக'' என்று கூறினார்கள்.
