Translation of the meanings Ayah: (149) Surah: Al-A‘rāf
وَلَمَّا سُقِطَ فِیْۤ اَیْدِیْهِمْ وَرَاَوْا اَنَّهُمْ قَدْ ضَلُّوْا ۙ— قَالُوْا لَىِٕنْ لَّمْ یَرْحَمْنَا رَبُّنَا وَیَغْفِرْ لَنَا لَنَكُوْنَنَّ مِنَ الْخٰسِرِیْنَ ۟
149. அவர்கள் நிச்சயமாகத் தாங்கள் வழிகெட்டு விட்டோம் என்பதைக் கண்டு கைசேதப்பட்டபொழுது ‘‘எங்கள் இறைவன் எங்களுக்கு அருள் புரிந்து எங்கள் குற்றங்களை மன்னிக்காவிட்டால் நிச்சயமாக நாங்கள் நஷ்டமடைந்தவர்களாகி விடுவோம்'' என்று கூறினார்கள்.
