Ayah: 1

اِنَّاۤ اَنْزَلْنٰهُ فِیْ لَیْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ ۟ۚۙ

1. நிச்சயமாக நாம் இந்த குர்ஆனை (மிக்க கண்ணியமுள்ள) லைலதுல் கத்ர் என்னும் ஓர் இரவில் (முதலாவதாக) இறக்கிவைத்தோம்.

وَمَاۤ اَدْرٰىكَ مَا لَیْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ ۟ؕ

2. (நபியே!) அந்தக் கண்ணியமுள்ள இரவின் மகிமையை நீர் அறிவீரா?

لَیْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ ۙ۬— خَیْرٌ مِّنْ اَلْفِ شَهْرٍ ۟ؕؔ

3. கண்ணியமுள்ள அந்த இரவு ஆயிரம் மாதங்களை விட மிக்க மேலானதாகும்.

تَنَزَّلُ الْمَلٰٓىِٕكَةُ وَالرُّوْحُ فِیْهَا بِاِذْنِ رَبِّهِمْ ۚ— مِنْ كُلِّ اَمْرٍ ۟ۙۛ

4. அதில் வானவர்களும், ஜிப்ரயீலும், தங்கள் இறைவனின் கட்டளையின் படி (நடைபெற வேண்டிய) எல்லா காரியங்களுடன் இறங்குகின்றனர்.

سَلٰمٌ ۛ۫— هِیَ حَتّٰی مَطْلَعِ الْفَجْرِ ۟۠

5. ‘‘ஸலாம்'' (ஈடேற்றம்) உண்டாகுக! (அவ்விரவின் இச்சிறப்பு) விடியற்காலை உதயமாகும் வரை (நீடிக்கிறது).
