Ayah: 46

قَالَ یٰقَوْمِ لِمَ تَسْتَعْجِلُوْنَ بِالسَّیِّئَةِ قَبْلَ الْحَسَنَةِ ۚ— لَوْلَا تَسْتَغْفِرُوْنَ اللّٰهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُوْنَ ۟

(ஸாலிஹ்) கூறினார்: “என் மக்களே! (இறைவனின் அருளாகிய) நன்மைக்கு முன்னதாக (அவனின் தண்டனையாகிய) தீமையை ஏன் அவசரப்படுகிறீர்கள்? நீங்கள் கருணை காட்டப்படுவதற்காக அல்லாஹ்விடம் நீங்கள் (எல்லோரும்) பாவமன்னிப்புத் தேடமாட்டீர்களா?”
