Translation of the meanings Ayah: (11) Surah: Al-Ahqāf
وَقَالَ الَّذِیْنَ كَفَرُوْا لِلَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْا لَوْ كَانَ خَیْرًا مَّا سَبَقُوْنَاۤ اِلَیْهِ ؕ— وَاِذْ لَمْ یَهْتَدُوْا بِهٖ فَسَیَقُوْلُوْنَ هٰذَاۤ اِفْكٌ قَدِیْمٌ ۟
நிராகரித்தவர்கள், நம்பிக்கை கொண்டவர்களை நோக்கி கூறினார்கள்: “இ(ந்த வேதமான)து சிறந்ததாக இருந்தால் (பாமர மக்களாகிய) இவர்கள் இதனளவில் நம்மை முந்தியிருக்க மாட்டார்கள். அவர்கள் இதன் மூலம் நேர்வழி பெறாமல் போனபோது, “இது பழைய பொய்யாகும்” என்று (கேலியாக) கூறுகிறார்கள்.
