Translation of the meanings Ayah: (36) Surah: Yūnus
وَمَا یَتَّبِعُ اَكْثَرُهُمْ اِلَّا ظَنًّا ؕ— اِنَّ الظَّنَّ لَا یُغْنِیْ مِنَ الْحَقِّ شَیْـًٔا ؕ— اِنَّ اللّٰهَ عَلِیْمٌۢ بِمَا یَفْعَلُوْنَ ۟
మరియు వారిలో చాలా మంది తమ ఊహలను మాత్రమే అనుసరించే వారున్నారు. నిశ్చయంగా ఊహ, సత్య (అవగాహనకు) ఏ మాత్రం పనికిరాదు.[1] నిశ్చయంగా, వారు చేసేదంతా అల్లాహ్ కు బాగా తెలుసు.
[1] చాలామంది ఊహలను, అంటే తమ కల్పనలను లేక భావనలను అనుసరించే వారున్నారు. కాని సత్యం ముందు ఊహలకు, భావనలకు, కల్పనలకు ఎలాంటి స్థానం లేదు. ఖుర్ఆన్ లో 'జన్న' అనే పదం ఊహ మరియు నిశ్చయం రెండూ అర్థాలలో వాడబడింది. ఈ సందర్భాలలో ఊహ లేక కల్పన అనే అర్థంలో వాడబడింది. (ము'హమ్మద్ జూనాగఢి).
