Translation of the meanings Ayah: (109) Surah: Yūsuf
وَمَاۤ اَرْسَلْنَا مِنْ قَبْلِكَ اِلَّا رِجَالًا نُّوْحِیْۤ اِلَیْهِمْ مِّنْ اَهْلِ الْقُرٰی ؕ— اَفَلَمْ یَسِیْرُوْا فِی الْاَرْضِ فَیَنْظُرُوْا كَیْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الَّذِیْنَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ ؕ— وَلَدَارُ الْاٰخِرَةِ خَیْرٌ لِّلَّذِیْنَ اتَّقَوْا ؕ— اَفَلَا تَعْقِلُوْنَ ۟
మరియు మేము నీ కంటే పూర్వం దివ్యజ్ఞానం (వహీ) ఇచ్చి పంపిన వారందరూ పురుషులే,[1] వారూ నగరవాసులలోని వారే. ఏమీ? వీరు భూమిలో సంచారం చేయలేదా, తమ పూర్వీకుల గతి ఏమయిందో చూడటానికి ? దైవభీతి గలవారికి పరలోక వాసమే ఎంతో మేలైనది. ఏమీ? మీరిది అర్థం చేసుకోలేరా?
[1] ఇక్కడ, ప్రవక్తలందూ పురుషులే, అని విశదీకరించబడింది. స్త్రీలకు ప్రవక్త పదవి ఇవ్వబడలేదు. మరొక విషయం విశదమయ్యేదేమిటంటే, ప్రవక్తలందరూ అహ్ లల్ ఖురా' పురవాసులే కానీ అహ్ లల్ బాదియహ్ సహరా వాసులు (పల్లెటూరు వాసులు) కారు.
