Translation of the meanings Ayah: (14) Surah: Ar-Ra‘d
لَهٗ دَعْوَةُ الْحَقِّ ؕ— وَالَّذِیْنَ یَدْعُوْنَ مِنْ دُوْنِهٖ لَا یَسْتَجِیْبُوْنَ لَهُمْ بِشَیْءٍ اِلَّا كَبَاسِطِ كَفَّیْهِ اِلَی الْمَآءِ لِیَبْلُغَ فَاهُ وَمَا هُوَ بِبَالِغِهٖ ؕ— وَمَا دُعَآءُ الْكٰفِرِیْنَ اِلَّا فِیْ ضَلٰلٍ ۟
ఆయనను ప్రార్థించటమే విద్యుక్త ధర్మం. ఆయనను వదలి వారు ప్రార్థించేవి (ఇతర శక్తులు) వారికి ఏ విధమైన సమాధాన మివ్వలేవు. అది (వాటిని వేడుకోవడం): ఒకడు తన రెండు చేతులు నీటి వైపుకు చాచి, అది (నీరు) నోటి దాకా రావాలని ఆశించటమే! కాని అది అతని (నోటి వరకు) చేరదు కదా! (అలాగే) సత్యతిరస్కారుల ప్రార్థనలన్నీ వ్యర్థమై పోతాయి.
