Ayah: 23

لَا جَرَمَ اَنَّ اللّٰهَ یَعْلَمُ مَا یُسِرُّوْنَ وَمَا یُعْلِنُوْنَ ؕ— اِنَّهٗ لَا یُحِبُّ الْمُسْتَكْبِرِیْنَ ۟
నిస్సందేహంగా, వారి రహస్య విషయాలు మరియు వారి బహిరంగ విషయాలు అన్నీ, నిశ్చయంగా అల్లాహ్ కు తెలుసు. నిశ్చయంగా దురహంకారులంటే[1] ఆయన ఇష్టపడడు.
[1] ఇస్తెక్బారున్: అంటే తనను తాను పెద్ద వాడిగా భావించి, సత్యాన్ని కూడా తిరస్కరించడం మరియు ముందు వారిని నీచులుగా, చిన్నవారిగా భావించడం. ఈ విధమైన గర్విష్టులు దురహంకారులంటే అల్లాహ్ (సు.తా.) ఇష్టపడడు. ('స'హీ'హ్ ముస్లిం, కితాబ్ అల్ ఈమాన్, బాబ్ త'హ్రీమ్ కిబ్ర్).
