Translation of the meanings Ayah: (134) Surah: Tā-ha
وَلَوْ اَنَّاۤ اَهْلَكْنٰهُمْ بِعَذَابٍ مِّنْ قَبْلِهٖ لَقَالُوْا رَبَّنَا لَوْلَاۤ اَرْسَلْتَ اِلَیْنَا رَسُوْلًا فَنَتَّبِعَ اٰیٰتِكَ مِنْ قَبْلِ اَنْ نَّذِلَّ وَنَخْزٰی ۟
ఒకవేళ మేము దీనిని (ఈ ఖుర్ఆన్ ను / ముహమ్మద్ ను) పంపక ముందే వారిని శిక్షించి ఉంటే! వారు అనేవారు: "ఓ మా ప్రభూ! నీవు మా వద్దకు ఒక సందేశహరుణ్ణి ఎందుకు పంపలేదు? (అలా చేస్తే) నిశ్ఛయంగా, మేము - అవమానం పొంది, అగౌరవం పాలుకాక ముందే - నీ సూచనలను పాటించేవారం కదా?"[1]
[1] అల్లాహ్ (సు.తా.) ఎవరిని కూడా అజ్ఞానంతో చేసే తప్పుల కొరకు - వారికి మార్గదర్శకత్వం చూపనంతవరకు - శిక్షించడు. అంటే సన్మార్గాన్ని చూసిన తరువాత కూడా దాన్ని తిరస్కరించి మార్గభ్రష్టులైన వారిని శిక్షిస్తాడు. ఇంకా చూడండి, 6:131, 15:4 మరియు 26:208-209.
