Translation of the meanings Ayah: (24) Surah: Al-Mu’minūn
فَقَالَ الْمَلَؤُا الَّذِیْنَ كَفَرُوْا مِنْ قَوْمِهٖ مَا هٰذَاۤ اِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُكُمْ ۙ— یُرِیْدُ اَنْ یَّتَفَضَّلَ عَلَیْكُمْ ؕ— وَلَوْ شَآءَ اللّٰهُ لَاَنْزَلَ مَلٰٓىِٕكَةً ۖۚ— مَّا سَمِعْنَا بِهٰذَا فِیْۤ اٰبَآىِٕنَا الْاَوَّلِیْنَ ۟ۚۖ
అతని జాతిలోని సత్యతిరస్కారులైన నాయకులు ఇలా అన్నారు: "ఇతను మీ వంటి ఒక సాధారణ మానవుడే తప్ప మరేమీ కాడు! మీపై ఆధిక్యత పొందగోరుతున్నాడు. మరియు అల్లాహ్ తలుచుకుంటే దైవదూతలను పంపి ఉండేవాడు. ఇలాంటి విషయం పూర్వీకులైన మన తాతముత్తాతలలో కూడా జరిగినట్లు మేము వినలేదే!"[1]
