Ayah: 55

وَاِذَا سَمِعُوا اللَّغْوَ اَعْرَضُوْا عَنْهُ وَقَالُوْا لَنَاۤ اَعْمَالُنَا وَلَكُمْ اَعْمَالُكُمْ ؗ— سَلٰمٌ عَلَیْكُمْ ؗ— لَا نَبْتَغِی الْجٰهِلِیْنَ ۟
మరియు వారు వ్యర్థమైన మాటలు విన్నప్పుడు, ఇలా అంటూ దూరంగా తొలగి పోతారు: "మాకు మా కర్మలు మరియు మీకు మీ కర్మలు, మీకు సలాం![1] మాకు మూర్ఖులతో పనిలేదు."
[1] ఈ సలాం అభివందనం కాదు. మేము మీవంటి మూర్ఖులతో వాదులాడమని తప్పించుకోవటానికి పలికేది. చూడండి, 25:63, 43:89.
