Ayah: 7

وَاِذَا تُتْلٰی عَلَیْهِ اٰیٰتُنَا وَلّٰی مُسْتَكْبِرًا كَاَنْ لَّمْ یَسْمَعْهَا كَاَنَّ فِیْۤ اُذُنَیْهِ وَقْرًا ۚ— فَبَشِّرْهُ بِعَذَابٍ اَلِیْمٍ ۟
అలాంటి వానికి, మా సూచనలు (ఆయాత్) వినిపింప జేసినప్పుడు, అతని రెండు చెవులలో చెవుడు ఉన్నట్లుగా, అతడు వాటిని విననే లేదన్నట్లుగా, అహంకారంతో మరలిపోతాడు.[1] వానికి అతి బాధాకరమైన శిక్ష పడుతుందనే వార్తను వినిపించు.
