اِذْ جَآءُوْكُمْ مِّنْ فَوْقِكُمْ وَمِنْ اَسْفَلَ مِنْكُمْ وَاِذْ زَاغَتِ الْاَبْصَارُ وَبَلَغَتِ الْقُلُوْبُ الْحَنَاجِرَ وَتَظُنُّوْنَ بِاللّٰهِ الظُّنُوْنَا ۟ؕ
వారు (మీ శత్రువులు) మీ మీదకు పైనుండి మరియు క్రింది నుండి (దండెత్తి) వచ్చినపుడు[1] మరియు మీ కళ్ళు (భయంతో) తిరిగిపోయి, మీ గుండెలు గొంతులోనికి వచ్చినపుడు, మీరు అల్లాహ్ ను గురించి పలువిధాలుగా ఊహించసాగారు.
[1] పై నుండి నజ్ద్, ఉత్తర తూర్పు నుండి వచ్చిన 'గి'త్ఫాన్, హవా'జిన్ మరియు ఇతర తెగల వారు; క్రింది నుండి ఖురైషులు; మరియు పడమర దిక్కునుండి ఇతర ముష్రికులు దాడి చేయటానికి వస్తారు.
