Translation of the meanings Ayah: (34) Surah: Ghāfir
وَلَقَدْ جَآءَكُمْ یُوْسُفُ مِنْ قَبْلُ بِالْبَیِّنٰتِ فَمَا زِلْتُمْ فِیْ شَكٍّ مِّمَّا جَآءَكُمْ بِهٖ ؕ— حَتّٰۤی اِذَا هَلَكَ قُلْتُمْ لَنْ یَّبْعَثَ اللّٰهُ مِنْ بَعْدِهٖ رَسُوْلًا ؕ— كَذٰلِكَ یُضِلُّ اللّٰهُ مَنْ هُوَ مُسْرِفٌ مُّرْتَابُ ۟ۚۖ
మరియు వాస్తవానికి ఇంతకు పూర్వం యూసుఫ్ మీ వద్దకు స్పష్టమైన ప్రమాణాలు తీసుకొని వచ్చాడు. కాని మీరు అతడు తెచ్చిన వాటిని గురించి సందేహంలో పడ్డారు. చివరకు అతడు మరణించినప్పుడు, మీరన్నారు: "ఇక అల్లాహ్ ఇతని తరువాత ఏ ప్రవక్తనూ పంపడు!" [1] ఈ విధంగా అల్లాహ్ మితిమీరి ప్రవర్తించే వారిని, సందేహంలో పడేవారిని మార్గభ్రష్టత్వంలో వదలుతాడు.
[1] బహుశా ఈజిప్ట్ లో యూసుఫ్ ('అ.స.) తమ తెగవారైన హిక్సోస్ (Hyksos) వారిలోనే ప్రవక్తగా పరిగణించబడ్డారు. వారు 'అరబ్బులు. హిబ్రూ భాషతో కలిసే భాష మాట్లాడేవారు. ఇతర ప్రజలు అతనిని ప్రవక్తగా ఎంచలేదు.
