Translation of the meanings Ayah: (17) Surah: Fussilat
وَاَمَّا ثَمُوْدُ فَهَدَیْنٰهُمْ فَاسْتَحَبُّوا الْعَمٰی عَلَی الْهُدٰی فَاَخَذَتْهُمْ صٰعِقَةُ الْعَذَابِ الْهُوْنِ بِمَا كَانُوْا یَكْسِبُوْنَ ۟ۚ
మరియు సమూద్ వారి విషయం: మేము వారికి మార్గదర్శకత్వం చేశాము. కాని వారు మార్గదర్శకత్వానికి బదులు గ్రుడ్డితనాన్నే ఇష్టపడ్డారు. చివరకు వారి (దుష్ట) కర్మలకు ఫలితంగా, వారిపై పిడుగు లాంటి అవమానకరమైన శిక్ష పడింది. [1]
