Ayah: 38

حَتّٰۤی اِذَا جَآءَنَا قَالَ یٰلَیْتَ بَیْنِیْ وَبَیْنَكَ بُعْدَ الْمَشْرِقَیْنِ فَبِئْسَ الْقَرِیْنُ ۟
చివరకు అతడు మా వద్దకు వచ్చినపుడు (తన వెంట ఉన్న షైతాన్ తో) ఇలా అంటాడు: "అయ్యో! నా దౌర్భాగ్యం! నీకూ నాకూ మధ్య తూర్పుపడమరల[1] మధ్య ఉన్నంత దూరం ఉండి వుంటే ఎంత బాగుండేది! ఎందుకంటే నీవు అతి చెడ్డ సహచరుడివి!"
[1] అల్-మష్ రిఖైన్: ప్రాచీన అరబ్బీ భాషా సంప్రదాయం ప్రకారం కొన్నిసార్లు ఒక శబ్దానికి ద్వివచనం ఇవ్వటం వల్ల దాని అర్థం రెండు విభిన్న వస్తువులను సూచిస్తుంది. ఉదా: ఇక్కడ వ్రాసినట్లు అల్-మష్ రిఖైన్, అంటే తూర్పుపడమరలు; ఖమరైన్, అంటే సూర్యచంద్రులు.
