Translation of the meanings Ayah: (129) Surah: Al-A‘rāf
قَالُوْۤا اُوْذِیْنَا مِنْ قَبْلِ اَنْ تَاْتِیَنَا وَمِنْ بَعْدِ مَا جِئْتَنَا ؕ— قَالَ عَسٰی رَبُّكُمْ اَنْ یُّهْلِكَ عَدُوَّكُمْ وَیَسْتَخْلِفَكُمْ فِی الْاَرْضِ فَیَنْظُرَ كَیْفَ تَعْمَلُوْنَ ۟۠
(మూసా జాతివారు) అన్నారు: "నీవు రాక పూర్వమూ మరియు నీవు వచ్చిన తర్వాతనూ మేము బాధించబడ్డాము!" (మూసా) జవాబిచ్చాడు: "మీ ప్రభువు త్వరలోనే మీ శత్రువులను నాశనం చేసి మిమ్మల్ని భూమిలో ఖలీఫాలుగా[1] చేసినప్పుడు మీరు ఎలా ప్రవర్తిస్తారో ఆయన చూస్తాడు?"
[1] యస్త'ఖ్లిఫకుమ్: అంటే మిమ్ము ఉత్తరాధికారులుగా, వారసులుగా లేక నాయకులుగా చేస్తాడు.
