Translation of the meanings Ayah: (164) Surah: Al-A‘rāf
وَاِذْ قَالَتْ اُمَّةٌ مِّنْهُمْ لِمَ تَعِظُوْنَ قَوْمَا ۙ— ١للّٰهُ مُهْلِكُهُمْ اَوْ مُعَذِّبُهُمْ عَذَابًا شَدِیْدًا ؕ— قَالُوْا مَعْذِرَةً اِلٰی رَبِّكُمْ وَلَعَلَّهُمْ یَتَّقُوْنَ ۟
వారిలోని ఒక వర్గం వారు: "అల్లాహ్ ఎవరిని నశింప జేయనున్నాడో లేదా ఎవరికి కఠినశిక్ష విధించనున్నాడో! అలాంటి వారికి, మీరెందుకు ఉపదేశం చేస్తున్నారు?" అని అంటే అతను (ఉపదేశం చేసే వ్యక్తి) అన్నాడు: "మీ ప్రభువు ముందు, (హింతబోధ ఎందుకు చేయలేదని), నాపై నింద ఉండకుండా మరియు వారు దైవభీతి గల వారు అవుతారేమోనని!"
