Ayah: 96

یَحْلِفُوْنَ لَكُمْ لِتَرْضَوْا عَنْهُمْ ۚ— فَاِنْ تَرْضَوْا عَنْهُمْ فَاِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَا یَرْضٰی عَنِ الْقَوْمِ الْفٰسِقِیْنَ ۟
మీరు వారితో రాజీ పడాలని, వారు (కపట విశ్వాసులు) మీ ముందు ప్రమాణాలు చేస్తున్నారు. ఒకవేళ మీరు వారితో రాజీ పడినా, నిశ్చయంగా, అల్లాహ్ అవిధేయులు (ఫాసిఖీన్) అయిన ప్రజలతో రాజీ పడడు.[1]
[1] దైవప్రవక్త ('స'అస) తబూక్ దండయాత్ర నుండి తిరిగి వచ్చిన తరువాత, వారంతా క్షేమంగా తిరిగి వచ్చింది చూసి కపట విశ్వాసులు, తాము నమ్మకస్తులమని నిరూపించగోరారు. ఆ సమయంలో పై మూడు ఆయతులు (94-96) అవతరింపజేయబడ్డాయి.
