Ayah: 59

وَمَا مَنَعَنَآ أَن نُّرۡسِلَ بِٱلۡأٓيَٰتِ إِلَّآ أَن كَذَّبَ بِهَا ٱلۡأَوَّلُونَۚ وَءَاتَيۡنَا ثَمُودَ ٱلنَّاقَةَ مُبۡصِرَةٗ فَظَلَمُواْ بِهَاۚ وَمَا نُرۡسِلُ بِٱلۡأٓيَٰتِ إِلَّا تَخۡوِيفٗا
[17.59] ไม่มีสิ่งใดยับยั้งเราโดยที่เราจะส่งสัญญาณต่าง ๆ เว้นแต่ว่าพวกสมัยก่อน ๆ ได้ปฏิเสธมัน และเราได้ให้อูฐตัวเมียเป็นที่ประจักษ์แจ้งแก่พวกษะมูด แต่พวกเขาได้ทารุณมัน และเรามิได้ส่งสัญญาณต่าง ๆ เพื่ออื่นใด เว้นแต่เพื่อเป็นการเตือนสำทับเท่านั้น
