وَلَآ أَنتُمۡ عَٰبِدُونَ مَآ أَعۡبُدُ
และพวกเจ้าก็มิใช่เป็นผู้เคารพภักดีต่อพระเจ้าที่ฉันเคารพภักดีอยู่ ซึ่งก็คืออัลลอฮ์เพียงพระองค์เดียว

• سورة المسد من دلائل النبوة؛ لأنها حكمت على أبي لهب بالموت كافرًا ومات بعد عشر سنين على ذلك.
ซูเราะฮ์อัลมะซัดเป็นหนึ่งในหลักฐานยืนยันการเป็นนบี เพราะว่ามันได้ตัดสินอบูละฮับว่าเขานั้นตายในสภาพผู้ปฏิสธศรัทธา และเขาได้ตายในสภาพนั้นจริงภายหลังจากสิบปีต่อมา
