Ayah: 17

وَأَمَّا ثَمُودُ فَهَدَيۡنَٰهُمۡ فَٱسۡتَحَبُّواْ ٱلۡعَمَىٰ عَلَى ٱلۡهُدَىٰ فَأَخَذَتۡهُمۡ صَٰعِقَةُ ٱلۡعَذَابِ ٱلۡهُونِ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَكۡسِبُونَ

Semud'a gelince; biz onları doğru yola ilettik. Ama onlar körlüğü hidayete tercih ettiler. Bu yüzden onları kazanmakta olduklarına karşılık alçaltıcı azabın yıldırımı çarptı.
