قَالُوٓاْ أُوذِينَا مِن قَبۡلِ أَن تَأۡتِيَنَا وَمِنۢ بَعۡدِ مَا جِئۡتَنَاۚ قَالَ عَسَىٰ رَبُّكُمۡ أَن يُهۡلِكَ عَدُوَّكُمۡ وَيَسۡتَخۡلِفَكُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَيَنظُرَ كَيۡفَ تَعۡمَلُونَ

Onlar: “Sen bize gelmezden evvel de geldikten sonra da işkenceye uğratıldık.” dediler. Dedi ki: “Rabbinizin düşmanlarınızı yok etmesi, yeryüzünde sizi onların yerine geçirmesi ve böylece nasıl amel edeceğinize bakması umulur” dedi.
