وَسۡـَٔلۡهُمۡ عَنِ ٱلۡقَرۡيَةِ ٱلَّتِي كَانَتۡ حَاضِرَةَ ٱلۡبَحۡرِ إِذۡ يَعۡدُونَ فِي ٱلسَّبۡتِ إِذۡ تَأۡتِيهِمۡ حِيتَانُهُمۡ يَوۡمَ سَبۡتِهِمۡ شُرَّعٗا وَيَوۡمَ لَا يَسۡبِتُونَ لَا تَأۡتِيهِمۡۚ كَذَٰلِكَ نَبۡلُوهُم بِمَا كَانُواْ يَفۡسُقُونَ

Onlara deniz kenarındaki cumartesi yasağını çiğneyen kasabayı sor! Onlara avları cumartesi günlerinde (suyun üstünde) akın akın geliyor, başka günlerde gelmiyorlardı. İşte onları fasıklık ettikleri için böyle imtihan ediyorduk.
