Translation of the meanings Ayah: (50) Surah: Hūd
وَاِلٰی عَادٍ اَخَاهُمْ هُوْدًا ؕ— قَالَ یٰقَوْمِ اعْبُدُوا اللّٰهَ مَا لَكُمْ مِّنْ اِلٰهٍ غَیْرُهٗ ؕ— اِنْ اَنْتُمْ اِلَّا مُفْتَرُوْنَ ۟
اور قوم عاد کی طرف ان کے بھائی ہود کو ہم(1) نے بھیجا، اس نے کہا میری قوم والو! اللہ ہی کی عبادت کرو، اس کے سوا تمہارا کوئی معبود نہیں، تم تو صرف بہتان باندھ رہے ہو۔(2)
(1) بھائی سے مراد انہی کی قوم کا ایک فرد۔
(2) یعنی اللہ کے ساتھ دوسروں کو شریک ٹھہرا کر تم اللہ پر جھوٹ باندھ رہے ہو۔
(2) یعنی اللہ کے ساتھ دوسروں کو شریک ٹھہرا کر تم اللہ پر جھوٹ باندھ رہے ہو۔
