Translation of the meanings Ayah: (74) Surah: Hūd
فَلَمَّا ذَهَبَ عَنْ اِبْرٰهِیْمَ الرَّوْعُ وَجَآءَتْهُ الْبُشْرٰی یُجَادِلُنَا فِیْ قَوْمِ لُوْطٍ ۟ؕ
جب ابراہیم کا ڈر خوف جاتا رہا اور اسے بشارت بھی پہنچ چکی تو ہم سے قوم لوط کے بارے میں کہنے سننے لگے.(1)
(1) اس مجادلہ سے مراد یہ ہے کہ حضرت ابراہیم (عليه السلام) نے فرشتوں سے کہا کہ جس بستی کو تم ہلاک کرنے جا رہے ہو، اسی میں حضرت لوط (عليه السلام) بھی موجود ہیں۔ جس پر فرشتوں نے کہا ہم جانتے ہیں کہ لوط (عليه السلام) بھی وہاں رہتے ہیں۔ لیکن ہم ان کو اور ان کے گھر والوں کو سوائے ان کی بیوی کے بچا لیں گے۔ (العنکبوت:32)
