Translation of the meanings Ayah: (64) Surah: Al-Kahf
قَالَ ذٰلِكَ مَا كُنَّا نَبْغِ ۖۗ— فَارْتَدَّا عَلٰۤی اٰثَارِهِمَا قَصَصًا ۟ۙ
موسیٰ نے کہا یہی تھا جس کی تلاش میں ہم تھے چنانچہ وہیں سے اپنے قدموں کے نشان ڈھونڈتے ہوئے واپس(1) لوٹے.
(1) حضرت موسیٰ (عليه السلام) نے کہا، اللہ کے بندے! جہاں مچھلی زندہ ہو کر غائب ہوئی تھی، وہی تو ہمارا مطلوبہ مقام تھا، جس کی تلاش میں ہم سفر کر رہے ہیں۔ چنانچہ اپنے نشانات دیکھتے ہوئے پیچھے لوٹے اور اسی مجمع البحرین پر واپس آگئے۔ قَصَصَا کے معنی ہیں پیچھے لگنا، پیچھے پیچھے چلنا۔ یعنی نشانات قدم کو دیکھتے ہوئے ان کے پیچھے پیچھے چلتے رہے۔
