Translation of the meanings
Ayah: (14) Surah: Al-Baqarah
وَاِذَا لَقُوا الَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْا قَالُوْۤا اٰمَنَّا ۖۚ— وَاِذَا خَلَوْا اِلٰی شَیٰطِیْنِهِمْ ۙ— قَالُوْۤا اِنَّا مَعَكُمْ ۙ— اِنَّمَا نَحْنُ مُسْتَهْزِءُوْنَ ۟
اور جب ایمان والوں سے ملتے ہیں تو کہتے ہیں کہ ہم بھی ایمان والے ہیں اور جب اپنے بڑوں کے پاس جاتے ہیں(1) تو کہتے ہیں کہ ہم تو تمہارے ساتھ ہیں ہم تو ان سے صرف مذاق کرتے ہیں۔
(1) شیاطین سے مراد سرداران قریش ویہود ہیں جن کے ایما پر وہ اسلام اور مسلمانوں کے خلاف سازشیں کرتے تھے، یا منافقین کے اپنے سردار۔
