Translation of the meanings Ayah: (20) Surah: An-Noor
وَلَوْلَا فَضْلُ اللّٰهِ عَلَیْكُمْ وَرَحْمَتُهٗ وَاَنَّ اللّٰهَ رَءُوْفٌ رَّحِیْمٌ ۟۠
اگر تم پر اللہ کا فضل اور اس کی رحمت نہ ہوتی اور یہ بھی کہ اللہ تعالیٰ بڑی شفقت رکھنے واﻻ مہربان ہے(1) ۔ (تو تم پر عذاب اتر جاتا).
(1) جواب محذوف ہے، تو پھر اللہ کا عذاب تمہیں اپنی گرفت میں لے لیتا۔ یہ محض اس کا فضل اور اس کی شفقت ورحمت ہے کہ اس نے تمہارے اس جرم عظیم کو معاف فرمادیا۔
