Ayah: 14

لَا تَدْعُوا الْیَوْمَ ثُبُوْرًا وَّاحِدًا وَّادْعُوْا ثُبُوْرًا كَثِیْرًا ۟

(ان سے کہا جائے گا) آج ایک ہی موت کو نہ پکارو بلکہ بہت سی اموات کو پکارو.(1)

(1) یعنی جہنمی جب جہنم کے عذاب سے تنگ آکر آرزو کریں گے کہ کاش انہیں موت آجائے، وہ فنا کے گھاٹ اتر جائیں، تو ان سے کہا جائے گا کہ اب ایک موت نہیں کئی موتوں کو پکارو۔ مطلب یہ ہے کہ اب تمہاری قسمت میں ہمیشہ کے لئے انواع واقسام کے عذاب ہیں یعنی موتیں ہی موتیں ہیں، تم کہاں تک موت کا مطالبہ کرو گے!
